Customer service very good, quality of food great (except the green tea), and price very decent.
The staff was indeed very friendly, as for instance they explained how sashimi is served with darker soy sauce while bringing it over to me. Also, they warned us when we got there just after 8 P.M. that they close at 9, asking if that was OK. They also let me finish up my sashimi when they were supposed to be closed.
I liked how there was pricing for everything on the menu (both the one provided to us when sitting us down and the one that stayed on the table with the drinks on it).
The quality of the food was great: all the sushi, sashimi, and soups were fresh and very tasty, as well as served at the right temperature.
I wasn't very impressed that there was an extra charge for the green tea as most sushi places I've been to serve it complimentary, but it was only $2.80 for a pot of tea with two cups (one for my guest and one for myself).
The green tea tasted very watered down. It was really the only thing that fell short. I would've given them 5 stars if the tea was included considering its quality, or if it was sufficiently steeped and if possible of the higher quality ones that I've had in at least one place in Toronto.
Price-wise, when I go to a sushi venue, if the price is on a ratio of $1 to 1 piece of sushi, I consider it decent. For a $14, I got a dinner meal consisting of 20 pieces of sashimi, a miso soup, seaweed salad, and rice. I've never seen such a good price for sushi.
I would definitely recommend this venue and I'd return to it when I'm in the area based on my experience. -

This is owned by a husband and wife I believe. It's In A strip mall. I almost did not see it. My husband found this place so we went to check it out. The place is zen, the music was zen and we were relaxed a plus. They do all you can eat sushi and they have combos you can get. The miso soup hit the spot and so did the green tea. The sushi was fresh and my husband was happy. As for myself I enjoyed my shrimp dumplings, spring rolls (they were fried) with a sweet/hot chili sauce. Than my rolls of Spicy Tuna Roll, California Roll and Shrimp. Was it the best I ever had, no was it tasty yes. Would I go back yes. The service was lovely and our server was helpful. No feelings of being rushed, and if we wanted to order more not a problem. I'm torn if it's a 4 star retro a 3.5... considering as someone from the USA the exchange rate is in our favor. I would check it out again.

So I've been to many different "classes" of sushi places, and this one quality wise would be below that of the one in Welland. So dinner AYCE is priced at $33 and change per person which is around the same if not more than some of the top sushi places in St. Catharines. That's my first complaint because the overall experience is nothing compared to some of those.
The one roll (8pcs) I got was the Orange Dragon. Listed from a piece of paper with no descriptions or pictures. It had no sauce on it and the avocado inside was half brown. Some rolls had almost no contents inside them. 0 consistency. I've had a lot of different dragon roll variations as its my favourite, so that was disappointing.
The shrimp tempura was as good as any.
I could name other things such as waiting too long for food or to find a waiter but that could of just been our experience.
Quiet and close quarters to the tables next to you, so people felt the need to talk quietly or whisper what they were telling their party.
The waitress was kind.
The people next to us were really enjoying their green tea.
The drive behind writing this review would be that I wish I had spent the same money on a place I knew was top notch in St. Kitts. Sometimes you try new places and win, others times you lose. Hope I was a help. -

Decided to drop in after work on a whim. Small & cute restaurant. Fast & friendly service. Everything I had was great. Green tea, miso soup and a few rolls. All fresh and tasty. Felt it was a little more expensive than it should be, but didn't mind paying it since I enjoyed the experience. Will go for all you can eat next time.

Just had the new all you can eat menu. Rolls are great. Tempura is fantastic and Miso soup is very tasty. Service is quick and friendly. Excellent price for all you can eat too.
